Zaman, Usman heroics helps Pakistan to thrash Zimbabwe in 2nd ODI

BULAWAYO: Fakhar Zaman’s not out 117 runs hands Pakistan second straight win over Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in second One-Day International (ODI) of five match series, played at Bulawayo cricket stadium on Monday.

Batting first the host managed to score only 194 runs courtesy Usman Shinwari’s magnificent spell with figures of 4 for 36 runs in 10 overs.

In response Pakistan easily chased down the target in 36th by loosing only wicket in the shape of Imam-ul-Haq.

From Pakistan’s bowling Usman Khan took four wickets while Hasan Ali took three wickets to bowl Zimbabwe out for 194 in the second one-day international (ODI).

Fakhar Zaman was awarded Man of the Match for his not out 117 runs.

Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza had won the toss and opted to bat first in the second of five ODI’s against Pakistan on Monday.

Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by a mammoth 201 runs after Imam-ul-Haq cracked a career-best 128 to set up Pakistan’s 308 for 7 in first ODI.

Pakistan currently lead the five-match ODI series 2-0.
