Winning streak continues: India thrashes Pakistan in World Cup encounter

MANCHESTER: The tournament favourites India thrashed their arch rival Pakistan in the World Cup match holding the grip on unbeatable streak against the green shirts.


Earlier today ( Sunday), Pakistan’s Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to field first on forecast condition in Old Trafford ground, Manchester.

Rohit Sharma scored 140 runs followed by Virat Kohli 75 runs. India playing first scored 336 runs with the loss of 5 wickets .
Muhammad Amir was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 wickets at good economy.

Pakistan chasing lost the opener Imam ul Haq. Fakhr Zaman and Babar Azam gave some respect to the Pakistani total followed by the collapse.

This is 7 out of 7th defeat for Pakistan against India.

With this loss, Pakistan chances of staying in World Cup diminishes.
